Watercolours

I started learning watercolour painting about eight years ago. It was a challenge as I had just retired and wanted to learn new skills. I was fortunate to find a great class and teacher and I am still learning every day.

I love the opportunutues which landscape provides, from a focus on a few leaves to the wide open panoramic views and distance.

Also exploring the effects and impact of light and such amazing artists like Turner, the Impressionists and Zbukvic.
