About me

I'm Steve, in my late sixties and as long as I can remember I have drawn, painted and generally appreciated the arts. Originally from Scotland I now live in Lancashire, England. I love living in a semi-rural place and being so close to both nature and the remnants of our industrial past. I am drawn to history from a social, political and economic point of view but also the lives and stories of our past. I have done extensive family history and geneology back to the 1700s. As a result I feel I know exactly who I am and where I come from. I have so much to be grateful for.

I am a strong believer in social justice and this is heavily influenced by my appreciation of the past and how yesterday affects today and will affect tomorrow.
